When I signed up for my gym, I was informed about all of the different classes the gym offers, which of course included a spin class three times a week. I was hesitant about joining the spin class myself after hearing dozens of horror stories from some of my friends who are members at other gyms, but I decided to bite the bullet and sign up anyways.
I absolutely love spin class. It is my number one form of cardiovascular exercise. I am an ex-softball player who occasionally runs, but cannot run more than a few miles without aggravating a softball induced knee injury. Spin class, for me, is the perfect alternative cardiovascular workout and I get to wear cute shoes. It is not only easy on the knees and feet; it also taps into my competitive side. While the person beside/in front of me does not realize it, we are racing.
I MUST beat them!
Well, at least try my hardest.
I love going to my spinning class at lifetime fitness. They offer weekly classes on Mondays that fits in perfectly with my schedule and makes it great for me to get some exercise after I drop my little brother off at school. Also, a lot of hot girls go to spin classes and I meet a lot of them when I go, so that is always good.
The instructor is also a hot girl who I talk to on a regular basis because I am a regular at her class and we are slowly becoming better friends with each class. We usually have a 60 minute class where the instructor tells us how hard we should be pushing ourselves and gives us tips like how fast we should be going and breathing techniques so that we can push ourselves to the limit. The instructor plays music that gets us in the zone and I really enjoy it.
I had been planning to do something useful for a long time. After applying so much thought I thought of taking up spinning classes. Spinning had been my favorite ever since my childhood. Joining a gym is something everyone can do, but I decided to do it with a passion. I was not on best shape when I enrolled, but I had the thought of coming out fit and slender. I envisioned it right from day one of my class. I was so excited to meet variety of people. Some had serious intentions while others did it for a past-time.
