Leisure, Challenge, Competition

History: Life University is a health oriented university in Marietta, Georgia, just northwest of Atlanta. The Life University Bicycle Club organized at the end of summer quarter, 2006. This is the third incarnation of the club.  The current club is designed to be all encompassing, involving members in all kinds of riding. Because for many leisure riders, winter is an off season, we have been  planning for the 2008 season and hope to have a number of club rides  for our members. Look for a changing schedule in the menu at the left.

Goals: Life University Bicycle Club offers rides and other activities for all levels of riders, from the casual rider, to the strongly competitive rider who wishes to race for the university in open races and against other colleges. Whether you prefer road or mountain biking, you can do it with friends in the club.
To support our public mission, the club adopts a number of charity rides, where TEAM LIFE can help make a difference. An annual charity ride for the club is the MS 150 ride for Multiple Sclerosis, Atlanta Challenge. This was our first ride in 2006 and has now been completed for 2007 as well. For 2008 we have committed to the MS 150 version in Savannah on May 3 and 4.
